Rockin' In Vermont!

I finally got settled in Vermont! Now I can get back to my story. I did one open mic in Kentucky, but Vermont is dripping with Open Mic venues. I can walk down the street to a local open mic on Tuesday nights or check the Open Mic website to find another one. There is one every night of the week. I have done 5 or 6 so far an I am meeting talented musicians here in Vermont. I am getting better at performing my songs and they seem to like them and ask me back. Not bad for a re-beginner and old guy!I will mention some of my favorite players from time to time. My CD is getting to the final stages and may get done by the end of June or July. Tons of work for me and especially Tim Brickley. I have written some new songs here in Vermont and I will record them as I learn to make them sound decent without Tim's guidance. Here is a picture of my local venue, Monty's. I play there on Tuesdays when I can. I always practice, which is something that some of the other performer should do. RRG Chuck

Now:The Big Move

The final touches were just done before I moved to Burlington, Vermont. The album will now be in the hands of the magician Tim Brickley and then it will be mastered. I think the cd will be done in February or March. It has taken over a year, but I think you will enjoy it. Rock, Blues, and a touch of Country/Folk Rock. All new songs by a beginner. I started playing again after a 30 year break and started writing songs! Check me out on www.reverbnation.com/chuckfoster! Chuck 1/5/2011
